Teachers Love Oklahoma

You know when something horrible happens, how we stayed just glued to the TV. All of the terrible and tragic things our world is faced with breaks my heart. But when I saw those little kiddos being carried out of that rubble…my heart literately broke. I just kept thinking about my family, and how truly blessed I am. Life can throw us all curve balls, and we all have days that we think we just have it so bad. Then, something like this happens. Like what just happened across OK.
My hubby kept saying “Ash, how many people do you think are homeless?”
I really, really do not want to think about those numbers. Or the number of parents that are burying their little guys.
I finally decided, with tears in my eyes, to turn to my friends in the blogging community. Within MINUTES..I had so many people offer to help.
So here we are  offering a fundraiser. This is your chance to give back and receive a tremendous amount of teacher created products.

I will take donations until May 28, 2013!!!

For a $25.00 Donation, you will receive over $250 worth of teaching products! ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE RED CROSS OKLAHOMA CITY!!!

Hug your family a little tighter and be thankful for all the things we are blessed with. I know this is one tragedy I will NEVER forget!!!

  1. Great Idea…just did it and typed my name on the list…hope I did it correctly.

    Thanks for organizing this!

  2. Please note, if you have NOT received your e-mail and you used a school e-mail address, I am getting a lot of e-mails returned that appear to be school e-mail addresses. Please FWD me your receipt (from an alternative email) and I will send your files right over! Thank you so much for your help!!! ~Ashley

  3. Kim, I've tried to send your file several times the last few days and it keeps bouncing back. Do you have another e-mail address we could try? Thank you!!!!

  4. Just donated! Thanks so much for doing this….Oklahoma is my home state and I am so proud to be from there.

  5. I just donated. I had been very busy with my own life issues and this weekend I just saw some of the stories of the teachers who helped save lives. It brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for putting the bundle together. I hoped I saved my name on google docs right.

  6. What a wonderful gesture! We have placed a link to your fundraiser on our blog. I just found your blog when hopping, and I am so glad that I did. I am a new follower and will be back to read future posts…

    All the best–
    Sarah @ Hoots N' Hollers

  7. I just realized I had donated but didn't receive a packet. Would I be able to get it still? Thanks again!
