March is one of those months that we love to hate. Spring Fever will be here soon if it’s not already. The kids are getting restless BUT there is relief in knowing Spring Break will be here before we know it! A few years ago, I shared some free March Classroom Ideas.

For me, I have to keep the routines strong. I have to keep my students engaged in the learning process regardless of how I feel at the moment.
March Classroom Ideas for Teaching Sight Words
We are using our sight word puzzles to practice building sight words. Students really love these puzzles. After they build the words, I have my students use the words in a sentence in their center notebook.
Spring Math Games for the Classroom
Our students are learning about estimation. We are reviewing addition facts and picture problems. I always have a spiral review math center in our routine so that students are practicing previously taught skills.
